Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers about housewrap and why it matters.

What is housewrap and why does it matter?

Housewrap is a weather-resistant barrier installed over wall sheathing before siding. It blocks liquid water from entering the wall assembly while allowing water vapor to escape, preventing mold, rot, and structural damage over the life of the building.

Can't my general contractor just install it?

They can — but most don't have the training or attention to detail that the job requires. Improper lapping, missed penetrations, and poor flashing are extremely common. We specialize exclusively in moisture barriers, so it's done correctly every time.

What housewrap products do you use?

We work with several high-performance products and select the best fit based on your build type, climate zone, and siding type. All installations meet or exceed building code requirements for airflow and moisture. We'll walk you through your options during your consultation.

Do you also consult on moisture intrusion issues?

Yes. Beyond standard housewrap installation, our years of experience allow us to consult on moisture intrusion, flashing failures, drain planes, and stucco wraps. If you have an existing moisture problem, we can help diagnose it.

How long does a typical installation take?

Most residential homes can be wrapped in one to two days depending on size and complexity. We work to fit your construction schedule without creating delays for other trades. Rush jobs are available — contact us if you're working against a tight deadline and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Where do you work?

We're based in Georgia and serve residential and commercial projects across the Southeast. We've been doing it since 1992. Contact us with your project location and we'll confirm coverage.

Do you offer written quotes?

Yes — we offer written quotes, long-term pricing, and a variety of installation methods and product options. Our direct buying power and low overhead allow us to offer highly competitive pricing.
